With the new system, players will be able to make changes to their mods through a new all-in-one screen that shows all mods and armor pieces at once, allowing players to quickly swap out mods without having to check individual armor slots. Speaking of mods, players will now also be able to customise their builds further with a new interface. Building on the last few updates to how the mods system works, Destiny 2 players will now be able to better engage with Lightfallâs buildcrafting system, which includes retiring the old mod energy system, and Artifact mods becoming passive perks. With Lightfall, the armor mod system in Destiny 2 is getting a major overhaul. Alongside the release of the launch trailer for Destiny 2: Lightfall, Bungie editorial lead Brian Ekberg has also taken to the PlayStation Blog to talk about some of the new quality of life features coming to Destiny 2 with its newest expansion.
